My friend had never been to this restaurant and I wanted her to experience it. The food is fabulous. I've never had the fish and chips but if it's as good as the Thai food, it should be excellent. The food is so fresh and tasty. My friend was amazed at how good something as simple as spring rolls and fried wontons could be... and the sauces. I enjoy the less "conventional". The salad rolls are wrapped in large rice noodles and served with peanut sauce. The "Lemon Grass" soup has fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with a selection of chicken, shrimp or fish for $3.99. I choose the shrimp - big, fresh shrimp. In total we spent $11.85 - incredible for such excellent food. I'm taking another friend this week. Lire plus

After reading mixed reveiws for Big Bens, hearing fantastic word around town and finding unbelievable deals in the local news papers. It was time to check it out for myself. Over all I had a great experience. I had a Cesar salad as an app and a beef soup for my boyfriend. The salad was a classic nothing unusual and the soup was perfect, it was thick and hardy. It tasted like my grandmother made it straight out of the garden. I had the one pc basa and chips, it was cooked to perfection! My boyfriend ordered a rare steak and got just that. The whole presentation of his meal came as a surprise. It was beautiful. A good portion of meat, veg and lovely mashed potatoes. The service was great, our server was friendly, she made our visit welcoming but not over baring. We will coming back to try breakfast, heard that weekend mornings are a hit. Lire plus

I loved everything about this restaurant! From the valet service at the door, the discreet but highly efficient service, the fresh and delicious seafood and wonderfully light Molotov dessert, and the extensive list of Portuguese wines.
