Waitress was very very good and attentive ... even hooked us up with a full chocolate milk to go when we accepted the offer for a top-up to go. Good variety. Was so good .. we came back for dinner ! S Lear's review of Phyl's Family Restaurant Funny !! I've read some ignorant reviews about Phyl's. Sorry it's not to your McDonald's standards! I ate at Phyl's yesterday afternoon. The moment I walked in the door....I was greeted and told to sit where I wanted to. Immediately I had service and drinks and my food order was taken. We ordered the fish and chips and the phylly Steak sandwich platter we got our food quickly. The food was great and the price was very reasonable. People need to understand that this isn't McDonald's, it's a Diner !! Maybe some of you are too young to understand what that is? Or too ignorant to appreciate good food. I will go to Phyl's again and will recommend it to others. Keep up the good work!!! See you soon Lire plus

I took a date there for date night. A nice, large booth was offered to us, very romantic and appealing. The food was great in my opinion. Portions were very generous, and the flavour was more of a Canadianized Italian than authentic style. We both enjoyed or meal and the real treat came at dessert with the Chocolate Pizza - amazing and worth going again so I can introduce another to this delicacy. The wine list was surprisingly diverse, a welcome treat. Our server treated us well. Based on my experience I would return to try it out again. Lire plus

I have been there about 12 times since it opened. they have got every single order correct, for multiple people And my favourite person from the one behind the Niagara Square on Oakdale works there. Wife and I always get coffee with milk and she always greets us with such please and says ;heres your double double with the milk, Shes great.
