Have now tried probably 30+ different items there (tortilla pie, confetti square, scones, shortbread, cin buns...) and had consistent top-notch quality/taste. DO IT!

Shane was excellent in servicing our car. He told us what was happening with our brakes. We purchased brakes from Canadian Tire, and they have given us nothing but grief. Shane is also a heavy duty mechanic as well as a car mechanic. Small business, good service. We are happy!

We have used this company for a number of years. They have been absolutely amazing from heating to plumbing to gas fitting issues. The staff is friendly and efficient and one time, even suggested a drain pan under our washer/dryer set and went to the trouble of building it custom for us. Can't say enough good about them! Excellent rescue when the car died at 49th Parallel Grocery. Service was friendly, and efficient. We were towed to the mechanic and then driven home. Maurice is in business because hes good at his job.

My sister brought in my mother with dementia today. It was her first outing since we were forced to put her in a home. The two stylists who helped my mother were so incredibly kind that it brought my sister to tears. Without a big explanation, they just understood. They made my mothers ( thus the entire family's ) day a good one. Can't thank them enough.

Fabulous staff and so friendly. I phone for an appointment and someone answers the phone right away (after the usual speel about emergencies and such). I was new to Ladysmith a year ago so they were very helpful in setting me up for online lab services too. Never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for an appointment either. So glad they are nearby.

I, along with 2 others have been visiting La Rosa on a weekly basis for nearly 2 years now. We thought of it as volunteering at first but we have benefited from those visits as much or maybe more than the residents. We chat, knit, sing and there is much laughter. It’s a wonderful, friendly environment and the staff are caring and kind. Without exception the clients we meet tell us that they love it there. I’m in my 70’s and I know where I’m going if I need assisted living!
