Went in because multiple mechanics were recommending I go see a transmission specialist. For two years this tranny was slipping and stalling at stop signs, mechanic said I needed a new transmission from donor truck. Went into Benz, they spent a day analyzing the problem, checking leaks and stalling issues, as well as tough cold starts. Topped up fluids and flushed it, found the level ridiculously low. So mechanics all tried to get me to replace a tranny, that just saved me $5000, bill was $67.

Awesome seeing BCC on here. These guys fixed up my rig perfectly last year! after north shore broke like 4 things and wouldn't replace it, BCC came to the rescue. they do a lot of great work for such a small shop! No idea how NSOR is so popular.

I have my two vehicles transmission rebuild at JP Transmission. Before taking my vehicle to this shop I got second opinions and estimates from other shops. JP’s estimate lower than other shops with same warranty. Pav the owner of this shop was helpful, honest and provided different options to repair my vehicle. Since than I am regular customer of JP Transmission for all my vehicles regular maintenance. I highly recommend JP Transmission for all small or big repair jobs.

Well I thought that the old school folks were all gone but I met one at samco electric, very reasonable plus he knows his stuff. I thought mine was a 90 but it was a 130 da on my part, he does go the extra mile there is more to this story.

Bobs Driveline has installed engines, rebuilt drivetrains and dealt with electrical problems I have had. It has been at least 10 years and still my preferred shop for major ticket repairs. They do their best to see me right away, quickly assess the problem, then get me on my way. They back up their work and honour their warranties. I highly recommend Bob's Driveline. After their findings I was given a full print out of everything and was gone through everything in detail by Gopi, the Manager at Crompton’s. He explained everything to me and after purchasing the vehicle I took it back and got Crompton’s to fix the issues they found.
After scheduling my appointment over the phone, I dropped off the vehicle after hours and dropped the key in their secure key

Matt and Jag can be very helpful, they will usually try to cut you a deal if it is possible. I really enjoy going to a mechanic that I can trust and who explains things simply to me. I would highly recommend coming here if you feel your mechanic is scamming you. I have been scammed by mechanics who are also family friends. It is very hard to find a good place to take your car. OH YEAH Ocean Park also has a wonderful coffee machine if you have to wait around!

The staff has always be knowledgeable and friendly. If you have an account the prices are good if not they can be a little pricey so ask for the shop rate and they usually honor it.

these guys know what they're doing. I left my Volvo SUV with malfunctioning tranny and they fixed it in three days.
they even stood up for my when Global Warranty didn't want to pay for repairs first but agreed to pay after shop explained to them what happened to the tranny.
will deal with them again in a heartbeat!
